During Apple’s “Gather Round Event,” the company shares the next installment of the Apple Watch series, showcasing a larger display and features that some would deem health conscious.
Featuring a dual-core 64-bit S4 processor, the Apple Watch Series 4 will run twice as fast as its predecessors. Upgraded features will include 18-hours of battery life coupled with an accelerometer and gyroscope as well as quality speakers and microphones.
And for those who are keen on visual aesthetics, the new iteration will feature a 30% larger screen which is thinner and curved. Showing more information on its face, the UI has been redesigned to display customized featured apps and new interactive graphics.
Available in space gray, silver, gold aluminum, and stainless gold, the Apple Watch 4 will retail for $399 USD and $499 with cellular service. Pre-order begins this Friday, with availability starting September 21.
