Tee Grizzley has been on Go Mode the entire pandemic.
Here is that “First Day Out” Grizzley. No longer sticking to the formula authorized by the label, the Detroit rapper released arguably his best work yet Summer 2020 with The Smartest. Today, Tee Grizzley keeps that same energy in his brand new video for the project cut, titled, “No Witness.”
In the black-and-white visual, we follow Tee from the arrest, to the interrogation, to four-by-five illustrating the story portrayed by his lyrics. Known for his gritty street references and no hold barried aggression, he hits the yard with his integrity on full display. “No Witness” fully shreds his commercial look the label tried to present. A Avedon production.
“No Witness” is the latest visual presentation off The Smartest. Other videos from the project include “The Smartest Intro,” “Mr. Officer” and “Trenches.” Released last July, the project debuted at #27 on Billboard, earning 18,845 streams. The Smartest was dedicated to Tee Grizzley’s late-Manager/Aunt who was tragically murdered during a drive-by. Zhamak Fullad direct.
