T.I. and Tiny Dismiss New Sexual Assault Allegations
T.I. and Tiny continue to face sexual assault allegations. Last week, New York lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn announced he was “speaking with investigators from multiple jurisdictions to pursue criminal charges. In fact, three new alleged victims have come forward.
According to The Guardian, one woman claims that the couple forced her to take drugs. Then they took her to a hotel for sex where “she could not consent” in 2010. Another woman alleges Tip and a male friend drugged and raped her in a hotel room that same year. Additionally, the third woman states that she was given drugs and subjected to sex trafficking in Nevada, California, and Florida.
Attorney Sadow Speaks on The Couple’s Behalf
Attorney Steve Sadow emphasizes that the women refuse to identify themselves. However, they are working hard to diminish the couple’s character.
“The Harrises are still awaiting the accusers to publicly come forward,” stated Sadow in a statement to HipHopDX.
“By choosing to remain anonymous, the accusers make themselves less credible and unworthy of belief. We urge them to reveal their identities so we can disprove these false accusations.”
Sadow’s statement reflects the Harris’ last one.
Blackburn Speaks Up For the Women
In March, Blackburn, the representative of eight of the other accusers said that five additional women and one man had come forward. They allege that the couple drugged them and took advantage of them anywhere between 2008 and 2015. Blackburn admitted that he’d only taken on one of the alleged victims’ cases at the time because it was the “only one he could corroborate.”
“The Harrises vehemently deny these baseless and unsupported accusations. We urge Blackburn to reveal the names of his anonymous accusers, allowing us to address their claims directly. By using the media for personal gain and concealing the identities of his clients, Blackburn prevents us from doing so. We believe that a thorough and fair investigation will reveal the lack of evidence, and no charges will be filed.”
Tracking The Accusations
The accusations started at the top of the year when Tiny’s ex-friend Sabrina Peterson claimed T.I. once held a gun to her head. From that point, numerous people shockingly accused the couple of sexual misconduct and sexual assault. But at least one accuser later shared that she fabricated the entire story just for clout.
Peterson has a history of stalking and harassment in Georgia and reportedly served prison time for “slicing and dicing” a former friend. Last month, Peterson filed a defamation lawsuit against Tip and Tiny. She feels harassed due to the public statements and social media posts made by the couple in response to Peterson’s shocking claim in January.
“[T.I. and Tiny] deny in the strongest possible terms these unsubstantiated and baseless allegations,” Sadow said. “These allegations are part of a manipulative campaign that started on social media. We urge everyone not to be deceived by these clear attempts to manipulate the media and misuse the justice system.”
The Harris’ stick to their stance of not forcing anyone to perform any acts unwillingly.
