The Saga Continues
When the “Surviving R.Kelly” Docuseries aired on Lifetime last year, the media wasted no time going after the Dethroned King of R&B. In the months that followed, Kelly was charged with 10 counts of sexual assault on February 21st and then 11 additional accounts of sexual abuse on May 30th. He managed to pay a 100,000 bail after his arrest in May, but he didn’t stay free for long. On July 12th of 2019, federal authorities arrested R. Kelly on 18 charges. The charges range from Child Pornography and Kidnapping, all the way up to Racketeering. He is currently behind bars until his trail and can’t pay his way out this time.
