Stephen and Seth Curry will finally get to prove who’s the better ball player.
This year will be the first time the two get to play one another in the Western Conference Finals. It also happens to be the first time in NBA history that two brothers will face off against each other in a major basketball tournament.
On the surface, it sounds like a case of typical sibling rivalry, yet for the parent’s it’s causing a divide.
According to Sports Illustrated, as a way to keep things fair, their parents have had to find a way to support each son without being accused of showing favoritism. Apparently, their parents, Sonya and Dell Curry, will be flipping a coin to decide which parent will represent each son’s team.
Seth & Steph Curry will be the first brothers to ever play each other in an NBA conference finals. Sonya & Dell Curry told me their plan is to literally flip a coin to split which kid to root for/which parent wears which team’s gear.

After the Trail Blazers defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals, Seth told reporters that he had received a text message from his brother. “He texted me right after the game,” said Seth. “He said, ‘I’ll see you Tuesday.’ I’m looking forward to it.”
