Soulja Boy Rants About New Jersey After Fans Chose $250 in Food Stamps Over Dinner With Him

The rapper isn’t a big fan of people who choose food stamps over a meal with him. That’s the reason he reacted so furiously to a video on Instagram, addressing women who decided to pass on him and instead go with $250 in food stamps. Watch Soulja Boy as he rants about fans on the streets of New Jersey: he did NOT like that they almost unanimously chose $250 worth of food stamps over dinner with him.

    Was Soulja Boy right?

According to 856 Entertainment, the question was based on a viral social media discussion from 2021 that asked fans to choose between “$500,000 or dinner with Jay-Z.” It sparked a lot of debate as to which was the better investment.

While Soulja Boy isn’t happy with those who chose food stamps over him, it’s also pretty funny to see him respond to it. He made a video cursing out those who chose food stamps and it’s almost hysterical to watch, but it must hurt a little bit for him to be like this.

He slammed the woman who picked food stamps over him, calling her “some broke-ass n*a” and “fk-a** n***a.” He also blasted the state of New Jersey, which the disputed Instagram page is based in, as well as making a bomb threat that’s kind of akin to Chief Keef’s classic banger “Faneto.”

In addition to the video, Soulja Boy shared his story about how he got his early fans in high school by turning local notoriety into a cult online following through battle rap. He shared how he turned his SoundClick page into his MySpace account, and how he used witty punchlines to get fans’ attention.

    Were they trippin’?

It’s hard to ignore the fact that he’s frustrated with his lack of respect among his fans. He believes that he should be seen as a savvy businessman who makes music in the rap game and deserves much more flowers than he currently receives.

While he might not be the most popular choice for dinner, Soulja Boy knows how to use his confidence to take his career to the next level. He’s proven this through the success of his music and has even boasted that he’s the first hip hop artist to “take over” America.

His angry rant came after he caught wind of a video posted on the 856 Entertainment Instagram page last Wednesday that asked women to pick between $250 in food stamps or a dinner with him. Overwhelmingly, the ladies in the clip decided to go with the food stamps option and it’s unclear why they did so.

    Yet another rant

On his angry rant, Soulja Boy called out those who chose food stamps over him and went as far as to say that he’s “some broke-ass n***a” because they couldn’t afford to go out to dinner with him. He also slammed the state of New Jersey, which the Instagram page in question is based in, as well as making an explosion threat that’s kind of akin the “$500K or dinner with Jay-Z” question from 2021.

Despite his anger, it’s important to note that Soulja Boy has no choice but to react to these things. He’s a big man with a big personality and he’s upset that his followers don’t see him as a shrewd businessman who deserves more love than they currently receive. He’s an absolute marketing genius who should be praised for the way that he uses his platform to grow his brand.
