Snoop Dogg can now do the crip walk down the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and take a pit stop next to his own star.
The Hollywood Chamber of Congress announced that on Nov. 19, the rapper will be honored. It’ll be the 2,651st star to decorate the sidewalk. Snoop will be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live that day, where Kimmel will help celebrate the rappers accomplishment.
“Snoop Dogg is one of those people who can do anything. He raps, he acts, he hosts a television show, he cooks and helps community kids with his philanthropic work,” said the producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Ana Martinez. “He is a man of the ages and we welcome him to our Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Snoops debut studio album was Doggystyle. Since then, the rapper who rose to fame out of Long Beach, has been a leading force in the hip-hop community. He has 16 studio albums, has had countless television and film roles, and released a cookbook, entitled From Crook to Cook, published in October.
The star will help to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Doggystyle.
Snoop better get them plaits done fresh!
