After losing over 3 million users/members in a short three months, the social media giant is facing trouble in keeping its fanbase.
Snap Inc. is the parent company of Snapchat, who recently revealed its results for Q2 of 2018. Surprisingly, the platform has reported significant losses in demographic figures. Daily active users dropped from 191 million in Q1 to 188 million as of recent. This equals 2% of its internal users, which is actually the company’s first ever user count drop in its history.
The better news reports reflect that it’s daily active users are 8% higher than this time frame last year, showing the company’s revenue up to a whopping $262 million USD. Which is 44% higher than last year and 11.9% up from last quarter.
