Russell Westbrook is mourning the loss of Nipsey Hussle by celebrating his legacy with an amazing victory.
On Tuesday night, Westbrook took to the court and did the unbelievable. In a game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Westbrook managed to score 20 points, get 20 rebounds, and put up 20 assists. It’s the first 20-20-20 triple-double since a player like Wilt Chamberlain graced the basketball court.

After the game was over, the guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder told reporters that his stats were for Nipsey Hussle.
“That wasn’t for me, man. That was for my bro, man. That was for Nipsey.”
“Rest in peace to Nipsey, man… somebody I looked up to, somebody that paved the way for a guy like myself growing up in the inner city.”
Westbrook comes from Long Beach, CA. On March 31, his friend, Nipsey Hussle was slain in Los Angeles’ Hyde Park area. He and Hussle were friends.
The game ended with the OCT winning. They won the game 119 points to 103 points.
