RuPaul’s Drag Race is Going to the Bloody UK

RuPaul’s Drag Race is packing it’s bags and going across the pond.

The competition, where drag queens battle it out, is moving to the United Kingdom. RuPaul said, “I am beyond excited to celebrate the massive charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the Queen’s queens,” in a statement. RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K. will air on BBC Three, starting in 2019.

A talent search is currently underway to fill 10 slots. RuPaul will return as a host for the show, as well as a judge. “And before anyone asks, yes, we would be thrilled to have Meghan Markle join us, as we are already preparing a ‘Royal-Mother-To-Be’ runway challenge,”RuPaul said.

RuPaul’s Drag Race will return on Dec.7, for a Christmas special, before making it’s RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 4 premiere on Dec. 14.

Recently the show welcomed a South American and Thailand version.
