Up and coming Jacksonville rapper, Spotemgottem, was shot in the hip in Miami early Friday morning on September 17.
Miami Drive By Shooting
According to Rolling Stone, the Beat Box artist was driving on highway I-95 in a Dodge Charger when an unknown vehicle opened fire. The shooter left 22 bullet holes in the Dodger.
Nehemiah Lamar Harden whose professional name is Spotemgottem, sustained gunshot wounds to his hip. A passenger sitting in the backseat of the car suffered gunshot wounds in both legs. Both men are in stable condition.
Highway Patrolman Lt. Alejandro Camacho told The Miami Herald that the rapper was driving on I-95 just north of 125th street when he was wounded around 3:19 am. The officer said he then called law enforcement.
Spotemgottem’s lawyer, Raven Liberty, said that after surgery the rapper was in stable condition.
“He is alive, most importantly… This was not a shoot-out. He was a victim of a drive-by shooting.”
According to The Sun, the rapper is rumored to have been shot 5 times.
Who is Spotemgottem?
Spotemgottem was born October 19, 2001 under the star sign Libra. He is 19 years old. The star rose to fame after his hit record, Beat Box, went viral on TikTok.

A Usual Suspect
In 2020, the Dallas Police Department investigated the rapper for the killing of Reginald Agnew Jr., who died in the parking lot at local venue.
Police received intel from a song the artist upload on Triller called “Again.”
The rapper is heard saying:”f**k the law and all you b***hes, they don’t even know who did it.”
He is also heard saying: “that N**** dead as s**t” and “won’t see his dead a** again.” Over a year later, there have been no arrests made in the case—says The Sun.
This summer, U.S Federal Marshals arrested Spotemgottem during his stay at a hotel for an alleged assault. Police stated that Harden confronted a garage attendant over a $80 dollar fee. He allegedly pointed a gun with a laser at the employee from the back seat, says Rolling Stone.
The rapper was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and accessory. He pleaded not guilty.
