It’s a Shit Storm for R. Kelly: Chicago Study Raided by Cops!

By

For R. Kelly, we’re sure it’s like waking up to news of your studio under search is a nightmare.

On Wednesday, the singer had his studio searched by police and the Cook County Building & Zoning Department. After the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series aired, rumors spread that he was keeping sex slaves. Just recently, the Chicago police patrolled his “sex cult” recording studio.

Police and officials from the Cook County Building & Zoning Department went to investigate to ensure that none of the rumors were true. And, according to HotNewHipHop, the search did not come up clean.

A spokesperson for the City of Chicago reveals that evidence was found to support the claims. Upon entering Kelly’s studio, officials note that the studio was in use for residential purposes. In addition, there were also traces of illegal work done to the home.

Witnesses say it only took an hour for officials to search the place.

Now, Kelly is facing eviction from the property, and a possible date in court. Kelly currently owes 166k in back rent– which officials state as the real reason for the search.

However, people believe differently. For instance, Kanye West is still bumpin’ Michael Jackson and R.Kelly!
