R.Kelly freedom is coming to an end sooner than later.
For several decades, the Chicago native has been associated with young girls. Once Lifetime decided to drop a docu-series entitled “Surviving R.Kelly”, Chicago had no choice but to press charges. Fast forward and now the singer is facing an uphill legal battle. In the docu-series, former employees are coming forward speaking on what was witnessed. Furthermore, reflecting that the “Step In The Name Of Love” is guilty of the accusations against him.
Ed Genson Weighs In
Now Kelly’s his previous lawyer from a prior case is speak out regarding his former client. Ed Genson spoke with Chicago Sun-Times regarding his thoughts on the singer. Consequently, he previously represented the singer back in 2008.
“When I represented Kelly in Florida, they set the bond at a $1 million,” he said. “We paid the bondsman $100,000. He was out on bond on the Florida case for three days and they made $100,000. Because he had to fly back to Chicago because they were going to arrest him here.”
Any insights into R.Kelly, the man? Guilty as hell?
“He was guilty as hell!” Genson said. “I don’t think he’s done anything inappropriate for years. I’ll tell you a secret: I had him go to a doctor to get shots, libido-killing shots. That’s why he didn’t get arrested for anything else.”
The singer is now seemingly on the road to serving a long jail sentence with all that is currently happening. Furthermore, the singer agreed to do an interview with CBS This Morning. A brief clip has been released, and from what has been seen, Kelly was ready to whip Gayle King’s ass on national tv. Just yesterday the singer was arrested for not being able to pay the $161K owed in child support. Even R.Kelly’s publicist is getting a lack of respect from the public.
As a result, Kelly is doomed. Therefore is Ed Genson telling the truth? Rather can R.Kelly beat the charges? Leave your comments below and stay tuned to Hypefresh.co.
