When it comes to scoring big acting gigs, Quavo is that man. The Migos star has stayed out of the spotlight for the most part, making appearances here and there. Though, just because he’s quiet doesn’t mean he isn’t working. In fact, Quavo seems hard at work with his new acting chops. Recently, news just hit that the rapper will star in a new action film involving fast cars, street gangs and tons of action.
Quavo Takes The Lead Role In Action Movie
Huncho might be Hollywood’s best kept secret, given all the acting roles he’s landed. His latest film project, Takeover, will have the rapper taking the lead star role. Deadline reported that Quavo will play Guy Miller, a guy who’s recently released from jail and trying desperately to stay out of trouble. Of course, Miller has “a need for speed” and can’t stay away from the underground car-racing scene. Fast cars, drama and action sounds like every guy’s dream job. It’s no wonder Quavo agreed to star in the action movie.
He’s A Sought-After Actor
Furthermore, the Migos rapper has made the successful transition from musician to actor, a fret not too many talents can achieve. Prior to his upcoming role in Takeover, Quavo has already starred in other projects like The Resort, Atlanta and Black-ish. Additionally, he’s set to star in the film Wash Me In The River alongside the great Robert De Niro. At this point, Quavo’s inbox must be full of film and TV offers.
