Power Book III S2: Exploring Family Dynamic And Music

The second season of Raising Kanan has been amazing! Only three episodes in, but a lot is happening. Music also plays a big role this season, alongside family dynamics.

In season two of Raising Kanan, we explore the music industry in depth. Unlike its glamorous image in the media, this season reveals its ruthless nature. “Streets Need a Body” was a former hit, but now Famous is facing challenges in selling his mixtape, putting his future and even his home at risk.

In the music industry, challenges abound for Lou-Lou, the boss and record label owner. This young mogul faces challenges in developing his new artist, Zisa, managing Jukebox’s image, and recovering from Famous’ financial loss. Lou-Lou lacks natural leadership skills like his sister, who could potentially take over. Crown’s clever plan to sell shares to Raque undermines Lou’s authority, and having employees conspire against him is a bad sign. Things might take a negative turn for Crown.

    Family Affair

As a devoted “Power” fan, Raque’s continuous mistakes start piling up over time. Though they may not have an immediate impact, they’ll catch up eventually. Let’s begin with the attempt to have her son kill his own father, a police officer—a truly sociopathic act that failed. Needless to say, she won’t be winning any Mother of the Year awards. Additionally, she took the life of her most trusted soldier. While it may seem reasonable to work with an enemy for business reasons, wise leaders don’t trade loyal soldiers for treacherous ones. It never ends well.

    Crazy Finish

This season is even more thrilling than the last. I think Kanan might take another life soon. I really want the Stark family to stay together because I’m not ready for them to split yet.
