If you’re a fan of the original Starz series Power, then you’ll be happy to know that the power ghost march is in full swing. The series is set to return with a new season in a few months, and you can’t miss it.
Ahead of its premiere on March 17, Starz has released a new trailer for the show that teases Tariq St Patrick’s (Michael Rainey Jr.) journey into becoming a “real” father. The show will also feature new cast members like Noma, played by Caroline Chikezie and the show’s first London-set episode.
The third season will see a change in leadership with Courtney A Kemp stepping down and Empire’s Brett Mahoney taking over the role of showrunner. You can also expect a few new recurring cast members to join the show, including Terry O’Quinn and Ade Akinnagbe.
STARZ has also shared three key art/posters for the season, so you can get a feel for what’s in store for Monet (Mary J. Blige), Brayden Weston (Gianna Paolo) and the rest of the gang.
You can watch the new Power Book II: Ghost season on Friday, March 17 at midnight on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming & on-demand platforms and internationally on Lionsgate+ in the UK. If you live in the US, you can also catch it on the Starz linear channel at 9 pm ET/PT on Fridays.
The Power franchise is a massive one with three spin-offs, all of which have been renewed for recommissions. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of the Power family in the future as we continue to follow their adventures across the country and around the globe.
