Time to catch them all
Quarantine has changed a lot of our habits over the past couple of months. Classes are being taught online, Restaurants are only doing takeout, and grocery stores are half empty. The common theme of it all is it’s a limiting social exposure. Pokémon go is a game that relies heavily on socializing. So it won’t be a surprise if players find it difficult to play a game that requires you to go outside and interact with people. The makers of Pokémon Go realize this concern. So they’ve been steadily coming up with solutions week by week to help players through this time.
Starting last week They began doing throwback challenges for each Pokémon region. This means that every week, players will have the chance to complete charges to obtain a legendary Pokemon from one of the regions each week. This weeks theme is the Johto region, which means you have a chance to win a legendary Pokémon from that region such as Ho-oh. Starter Pokémon such as Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile will also appear more frequently in the wild.
Throwback challenge 2020 Johto will also contain the following
-Time to research challenges
-Event theme Field Research
-2x Catch Stardust
-2x Raid Stardust
This challenge will go on until this Friday and then after that, 2020 Hoenn challenges will start.
