Pharrell & adidas Originals Drop FW18 SOLARHU Capsule

After dropping two earlier SOLARHU capsules – including East African flags – adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams have continued to reveal the theme for FW18. The most recent SOLARHU drop takes its inspirational cues from East Africa with an initiative of reimagining traditional weaving patterns.

Standout pieces include four new colorways of the collaborative Hu NMD. Coming in “Power Blue” and “Clear Blue,” the kicks feature a brightly covered reference to traditional East African weaving. Each colorway is then finished with the words “Empower” and “Inspire” embroidered in Chinese lettering across the primeknit upper.
