Oprah Winfrey calls Sex Trafficking Allegations a “Fake Thing.”
When you think of Oprah Winfrey, you probably don’t associate her with Sex Trafficking. Yet last night, that’s exactly what was a trending topic on Twitter.
Amid all the coronavirus hysteria, some people are taking the time to start rumors about celebrities. Oprah was the latest celebrity to be a target of Qanon. A group of individuals who spread outlandish conspiracy theories about celebs.
The latest theory was that one of Winfrey’s was apart of a police raid. Furthermore, not only was there a raid, but there was also Oprahs arrest.
After trending for some time of social media sites, Winfrey decided to respond via her twitter account.
Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It’s NOT TRUE. Haven’t been raided, or arrested. Just sanitizing and self distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody.🙏🏾

The Oprah Winfrey isn’t the only rumors swirling around during this time.
Qanon also started a rumor the Coronavirus positive Tom Hanks was arrested for Pedophilia. These claims are untrue as Hanks and Wife Rita Wilson are still recovering from their coronavirus diagnosis in Australia.
With the Coronavirus shutting down the world. It easy to see why people are finding immature ways to fill their time. However, the seriousness of the Coronavirus is a real issue. The economic effects of the virus are being felt all over the world, with no apparent relief in sight. Hopefully, the world can bounce back without any further delays.
