Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot on Saturday. They wed in India, at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Chopra and Jonas had been courting each other since 2016. It wasn’t until 2018, that they begin to admit they were in a relationship.
Chopra is originally from India, so it made since that she’d want to have a traditional Indian wedding. On Saturday, the newlyweds had a Christian ceremony, following a Hindu ceremony on Sunday. Ralph Lauren congratulated the couple, as well as thanked them for allowing him to be the designated designer for the special occasion.
People Magazine captured the day, and Chopra shared the beautiful pictures on her Instagram.
Chopra wore a hand-beaded and embroidered gown, with a 75-foot long veil.

“I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up,” Chopra told People. “We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It’s been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way.”
