With powerful imagery on display and a striking lyrical offering, Noname is paying homage to “Blaxploitation.”
Emerging artists Noname has released her newest project Room 25. And in Noname fashion, she just released the visual for the standout track “Blaxploitation.” With direction from Alex Lill, the footage is a story of white supremacy and the fear of the black body. The footage features an African-American toddler crawling through the streets with no fear as it becomes a playground. The video also features clips of white people watching the free toddler in fear.
