Universal Studios Japan is set to open Super Nintendo World theme park this summer. This was announced back in mid-December of 2016 and was planned to be opened by the 2020 Olympic Games. Furthermore, with the theme park opening, there is going to feature some familiar games and faces including Mario.

In addition to this, a promotional video that features a song from Galantis with Charlie XCX was released by Universal Studios Japan.

The video was released on the website for the Super Nintendo World theme park as well as on other websites.

On Twitter, a reporter named Kurumi Mori tweeted some news about the new theme park. She had tweeted some news about what people can expect with the new theme park opening up this year.

With the tweets she had posted, the new theme park seems to bring the world of video games into the real world. With her tweets, visitors that go to the park will wear a “power up band”. This “power up band” that would seemingly allow visitors to interact with the virtual world while in the theme park. Her tweets and news reports state the “power-up band” allows visitors to “collect digital coins and compete against others.”

Mario Kart ride seems to be a ride at the theme park.

With the theme park, there is also reports that there will be the addition of a Mario Kart ride for visitors. Hopefully, there will be more surprises in store with this new Super Nintendo theme park.

With the Super Nintendo World theme park coming to Universal Studios Japan, other countries will get a chance at the theme park. News reports talk on how Super Nintendo World is planned to come to North America. This, of course, being Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort. Finally, the theme park also seems to have plans of going to Singapore.

In the end, the Super Nintendo World theme park seems to be one that will attract many.
