The most beloved colorway of the Nike Kobe 6 is finally back!
The 2010 Christmas exclusive Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” will become available for fans of the line on Christmas Eve. This is the first retro of the Kobe 6 sneaker line from Nike. The late, great Kobe Bryant dawned these elaborate sneakers on 2010 Christmas Day against LeBron James when he was on the Heat. Kobe was also seen giving out pairs of these sneakers to VIP guests on the sidelines during the game.

Nike originally named the sneakers, the “Gift”. The release date is so close to Christmas time and the green colors match the aesthetic of Christmas time. The green mamba snake is the inspiration behind the bright green coloring as well. The sneaker community gave it the “Grinch” moniker because of its resemblance to the well-known Christmas antagonist’s fur from the Dr. Suess story, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”.
These sneakers feature the signature snake scales from the original Kobe 6 models. The bright green color of the shoes are sure to catch everyone’s attention, and brighten up any room or court you step on. The red Kobe logo and signature gives the shoe the perfect look for the upcoming Christmas holidays.
You can get these at retail price of $180 on the Nike SNKRS App, or select retailers on December 24, 2020.
