If you think about it, life is just one big ass game of hide and seek. The problem is everyone wants to be found, which is virtually impossible. When some people focus their attention on looking for their person, some people wander off the trail and have to find themselves. I never thought I’d see the day when a music artist can perfectly achieve this goal, but New York artist Justend captured exactly how it feels to be ‘Lost’ in his newest song.
Lost In Love
We all know that love can make you do some crazy things, but being lost in love is a completely unfamiliar emotion. No worse feeling than being stuck in limbo and not knowing what the next move is. But thanks to Justend, it’s good to know that there are other people who can relate to the average person’s struggle.
So many songs try to portray love as the best thing ever. But there are a lot of dark moments included in the process. I appreciate Justend for showing that everything isn’t peachy in his new release. I understand why the single took two years to create. Sometimes it’s best to revisit a great idea after experiencing more of what life has to offer.
The Dream Team
Produced by frequent collaborator Joe Aste, these two never fail to make magic together. Production-wise, Joe is great at providing beats that put listeners in a calm, mellow state. This makes it easier for Justend and Papichuloteej to do what they do best and allow their pillow-soft vocals to do the heavy lifting. I can always depend on Justend to go above and beyond, but in this song, he exceeded all expectations.
