The times we are nothing like those that have been seen within the past hundred years. As we speak the coronavirus is altering the way that many of us now live our lives. It has affected our social lives, business operations, sources of income, and even how we elect officials.
Due to the coronavirus, the state of New York has decided to cancel its Democratic presidential primary. With scientists predicting that we will have a second corona wave in the later months this is probably the smartest decision. However, this could have until production later on down the line. With New York being the first state to put a hold on a major election, will other states follow in his footsteps? And if so how this affects future elections that we will have for this country? And an even bigger concern is for the states who don’t postpone their primary elections. Will other states continue to risk their citizen’s lives just to get their votes in? Or will everyone come to a unanimous decision to postpone the election until after this crisis is over? Hopefully, everyone comes to a healthy solution soon that way we can get back to running things smoothly.
