Ne-Yo is Back with a New Single and Visual, “What If”
Coming back to the music scene in style, legendary R&B singer Ne-Yo is has dropped his latest single and visual“What If.” Through his record labels Motown Records/Compound Entertainment, his first single and visual dropped on various platforms on September 24th.
Storyline and Production
Quoting a caption on the song’s premiere post on his Instagram, Ne-Yo gives a brief description of the song. He states that the song is about choices, right and wrong are comparable. And you should live your life with no regrets. “What If” was recorded in London with top producers Magnus Klausen and Ebenezer. Moreover, Curtis ‘Sauce’ Wilson engineered the award-winning vocals for “What If”.
“What If” Visuals
Accompanying this track is a simple video with well-choreographed dances. Ne-Yo performs in the video along with a group of dancers, depicting a black-and-white theme. In addition, the video was produced in collaboration with Shutterstock, part of the behind-the-scenes photography team of the R&B legend and multiple GRAMMY Award winners. The company also offered visual and special effects from their vast library.
