Mr. Monkei New Single “Good Morning America” Displays His Stunning Talent

Outstanding American singer-songwriter Mr. Monkei recently disclosed one of his new trending singles, “Good Morning America,” accompanied by a stunning cinematic music video.

“Good Morning America,” tells an enchanting tale about the daily struggles of everyday Americans who tremendously work hard to live up to what the rest of the world thinks and calls The American dream.

“Good Morning America” contains a relatable-based narrative and soft, easygoing vocals incorporating a lovely tune with guitar-driven instrumentation spiced with a warm indie-pop vibration that serves as a tasty appetizer to what we should expect to hear from Mr. Monkei as he continues to release new music.

Mr. Monkei had a chat with us and answered our unique 4 Questions. Check it out below.

HYPEFRESH: Let’s start by introducing ourselves. You know the basics, like name, age, and where you’re from, as much or little as you’re comfortable sharing.

Mr. Monkei:  My name is Mr. Monkei (Leo), and I’m 35 years old and from Detroit, MI, currently residing in Miami, FL. I am a music producer, singer-songwriter, and film score composer.

HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Good Morning America”?

Mr. Monkei:  I was reviewing some of my old beats and stumbled across this one I made in 2008 when I was just a “producer.” I’ve always felt an emotional connection to this beat, so I wanted to create something real and risky. I lived in Medellin, Colombia, from 2018- 2021 and learned a lot. One thing that came to mind was everyone’s opinion about “Americans.” Like the movies, they believe we all are rich and living the “American Dream.” This thought process is the same in several other countries. The idea was to bring to light the actual truth and struggle of the everyday American.

HYPEFRESH:  What do you like most about being a music artist?

Mr. Monkei:  When I hear the term “artist,” I think of Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, and several other legendary painters. For this reason, I like to use the term “musician” or “creator of music.” Honestly, I love creating music that people can relate to. If my music can make someone happy on a sad day, bring positivity to a negative mind and give hope, or keep them entertained, I feel I’ve done my job accurately and efficiently.

HYPEFRESH:  How can our readers follow you online?

Mr. Monkei:  You can follow me on Instagram @mr.monkeii, Facebook @mr.monkei, or if you’d like to see what I was doing in Colombia for three years, my music videos are always an excellent way to learn on Youtube @mr.monkei.
