NYC, (Sept 14, 2021) – Moosie Wins takes his “MCLOVIN” single back to 2007. He isn’t the first rapper to reference a movie or the first to name drop McLovin. In fact, in recent years Kanye and the Migos have used the name in their songs.
Independent label and music production company Witease Music, announced the release of Moosie’s new single “McLOVIN”. The track was accompanied by several viral comedians, featured in its visuals. Moosie is expected to build more traction following the streaming success of this catchy track.
The Story Behind McLOVIN
When considering what led to the music video idea, Moosie explained that he sought to actualize his interpretation of the 2007 film Superbad. However, Moosie wrote the lyrics in 2020. After solidifying the concept, the Brooklyn rapper promptly tapped Ty Fyffe and Just Max, who impeccably blended the sound to make the energy displayed in the visual.

With an undeniable degree of comedic help, Moosie chose to include two striking comics, as Shiggy, best known for his viral “Kiki challenge” and Mr. Commodore, Harlem’s own professional comedian. It was amazing to observe how the comedians’ energy coordinated with the single’s melodious substance.
