The alternative pop singer and songwriter Molly and the Pineapples recently released a captivating single titled “Pink Lemonade,” which brings a tremendous and contagious melody combined with a modern and current sound featuring a quieter rhythm with sharper vocals, the perfect combination for the track’s finish.
Molly and the Pineapples chatted with us and answered our three specific questions. Check it out below.
HYPEFRESH: Let’s start by introducing ourselves. You know the basics, like your name, age, and where you’re from; you can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.
Molly and the Pineapples: My name is J. Shuler, and I am Molly and the Pineapple’s lead singer. I’m originally from Jersey City, NJ, and reside in Atlanta.
HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Pink Lemonade”?
Molly and the Pineapples: My new single, “Pink Lemonade,” is produced by Novelty Beats. That beat sounds sexy, carefree, and fun, so I tried to capture that in my delivery.
The beat was named “Pink Lemonade,” and I created the lyrics and theme of the song around that. The switch to the piano at the end was added by myself, the engineer flipped the instrumental to fade out the music, and when I heard it, I knew the piano had to go over it.
HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?
Molly and the Pineapples: What I love about being a music artist is expressing myself through music. It can be therapeutic at times and it can also be enjoyable to experiment with. My next release will sound completely different from this, and I love that.
