After the R. Kelly six-part documentary, they’re gunning after Micheal Jackson.
TMZ reports that during this year’s Sundance Film Festival, a new documentary will premiere, which intends to address Micheal Jackson committing sexual abuse.
Jackson’s estate is bashing the documentary. And just like R.Kelly attempting to sue, the estate might be doing the same! From Kevin Spacey to Bill Cosby, and others, sexual assault cases have been on a steady increase.
“This is yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson,” Jackson’s estate told TMZ.
The documentary is titled Leaving Neverland. It’s one many other attempts to expose Jackson as a child predator. In the documentary, two accusers come forth with recounts of Jackson’s sexual misconduct. The accusers, at the time, were just young boys.
The late pop-star’s estate further states that the “so-called documentary is just another rehash of dated and discredited allegations. It’s baffling why any credible filmmaker would involve himself with this project.”
Wade Robson and James Safechuck are suspected to be the two accusers in the new doc.
Sundance Film Festival kicks off from January 24 to February 3.
