New and upcoming Mexican artist Lil Maru has been climbing the ladder of success like a champ. Furthermore, the 18-year-old stepped onto California’s hip-hop scene after dropping his 2020 track “Change Up.”
The single alone has garnished over 20 million streams. That’s pretty impressive for a debut record.
Additionally, Maru followed up his first record with a handful of other tracks, such as “On The Block,” “Issues,” and “Nothing Into Something.”
In 2022, Maru re-introduced us to a horde of outstanding records, such as his EP Been 2 Gone. He even dropped another round of viral hits off the project, such as “Heartless” and “Soda Shopping.”
With so many great songs from his discography, Maru will indeed have a rap career in hindsight.
Recently, the Mexican rapper dropped his latest Latin-inspired record, “Como Yo.” The dance record finds Lil Maru enjoying a night out on the town alone.

As mentioned, the rapper recently dropped his newest track, “Como Yo.” Additionally, the visuals for the song provide the feel of a late-night Latin record that’ll make us dance till the early morning.
Furthermore, the song finds Maru enjoying a night out on the town. He even gives viewers a tour of his neighborhood as he walks up and down the city streets.
Moreover, the song comes together in a nice blend of instrumentals, smooth vocals, and Maru’s personal brand of confidence. The rapper knows how to make an excellent record.
