DaBaby’s Homophobic comments have struck a nerve with several artists in the industry. Now Megan Thee Stallion says she’s not here for DaBaby’s drama. Recently, the 26-year-old aired out her frustrations over the rapper’s insensitive comments toward the LGBTQ community. She also demands for everyone to treat each other like a human being. She’s supporting the LGBTQ community in a big way that’s now made her an ally to the cause.
Megan Thee Rapper Demands People Treat Each Other Like Human Beings
When it comes treating people like human beings, Megan Thee Stallion wholeheartedly stands by it. In a new interview with PEOPLE, the rapper voiced her opinions in regards to DaBaby’s homophobic comments at his Rolling Loud Miami performance back in July. Furthermore, the 26-year-old noted that its due time that HipHop’s issue with gay culture” be addressed once and for all. “Representation is important, and it is really crucial for us all to have compassion and acceptance of every human,” the rapper spoke on the situation. Fortunately, Megan Thee Stallion supports the LGBTQ community.
Friends That Became Enemies
Unfortunately, DaBaby’s homophobic rant has put even more of a strain on him and Megan Thee Stallion’s friendship. At first, the two seemed like really good pals. Previously, they collaborated on several of Megan’s tracks like “Cash S**t”, “Cry Baby” and “Nasty.” However, due to recent developments, that relationship has since soured. His collaboration with Tory Lanez on their “SKAT” track was the real breaking point for Stallion. Now the two have gone their separate ways. At least, Megan Thee Stallion knows how to surround herself with good people these days. More importantly, she knows how to treat people like a basic human being.
