It’s an interesting song choice from the rapper, considering the song’s emotional and personal tone. Though, at the time, the song seems more than fitting for an adolescent teen Megan Thee Stallion, who herself had dreams of becoming a huge star. To show just how big of a Hannah Montana fangirl she truly is, the rapper referenced the show on her 2018 track “Tina Montana.” In particular, fans remember the lyric, “Snatch off your wig like Hannah Montana.”
