Megan Thee Stallion Makes Hot Girl History With Forbes Cover

A post shared by Forbes (@forbes)

This past Monday, it was announced that Megan Thee Stallion would grace the cover of Forbes as the first Black woman ever on the 30 Under 30 issue. The caption of Forbes’ post details Meg’s journey in her music career. It is noted that Meg’s body of work appears to be getting better and better with each and every new release.

It is undeniable that Megan’s come-up reflects all of the best attributes of hip-hop. Megan came from humble beginnings, and she now collaborates with the biggest names in both rap and pop! Home girl even found the time to graduate from college! With her ability to go viral, Megan has sparked a more intersectional wave of feminism. Despite its X-rated content, “WAP” was a household name.

Her record label might suck, but that’s not going to stop Megan. Meg seems to face even the most difficult challenges, like allegedly being shot, with ease! Megan shows up for her highest-self, and that’s something that haters unfortunately have a hard time ignoring.

Are you proud of Megan? What do you think her success means for Black women in general? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment!
