Meek Mill Surprises Fans With Made in America Set

Meek Mill Performs At Made in America

Meek Mill is here? In the midst of festival season, music lovers are thrilled to see their favorite artists perform live again. Fortunately the area surrounding the Philadelphia Museum of Art wasn’t negatively affected by Hurricane Ida flooding. As a result of Meek’s surprise move, fans came running towards the stage as soon as the intro to “Dreams and Nightmares” made noticeable sound waves over Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.

In fact, local Philadelphians knew something was up. The night prior to Meek’s surprise performance, fans documented his sound check on social media from blocks away.

Meek Mill’s Made in America Performance

Meek Mill came out during Lil Baby’s headlining set. In addition, a fellow native of the City of Brotherly Love, Lil Uzi Vert graced the Made in America stage. Uzi recently teamed up with the rapper “Going Bad” for a new song titled “Blue Notes 2”.

The last time the Philly native performed at Made in America was in 2018. His performance occurred seven months after his release from prison, when he served time for parole violations. Similar to how he closed the 2018 set, he wowed fans with his performance of “Dreams and Nightmares,” a definitie Philly and Black culture anthem. Hopefully Meek Mill has more music and performances for fans to enjoy.

Additionally, the festival lineup featured Justin Bieber as another headliner. Other A-list acts include Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Bobby Shmurda, Baby Keem and Lil Durk. Also, fans enjoyed performances by A$AP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Freddie Gibbs, Tinashe, Morray, 42 Dugg, EST Gee and more.
