Gervonta Davis has always never struggled to draw attention to his skills, improving his record to 28-0 the other night. However Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill almost stole the show during the fight. In the middle of the eighth round, the referee signaled for a pause in the contest, as Davis and Garcia were both sidetracked by an altercation in the audience.
Turns out that Meek Mill almost got into his own boxing match with professional boxer Garry Russell Jr. and his brothers who are also boxers.
A couple of videos surfaced showing tensions rising between Meek Mill and Gary Russel. Russel and his brothers have proven to be pretty proficient with their hands, having only lost 3 fights between the 3 of them.

Meek Mill took to Twitter to throw shade at Russel after the fight.

Many fans informed the rapper that the fight would not go in his favor, with some recalling that they’ve seen Meek Mill boxing, and he should not be trying to fight anyone.
In the end, it appears that Mill made the correct decision and left peacefully, and the night concluded with Gervonta’s fight record improving to an impressive 28-0 with 26 of those wins being knockouts. Tank then reacted to Meek Mill’s altercation after the match.
