Of all places, there’s been a huge weapons bust in Bel-Air.
Authorities have reportedly seized more than 1,000 firearms from a mansion belonging to Cynthia Beck. However, Beck is out of the country and hasn’t been seen by her neighbors in years. Though the home belongs her, police have reason to believe that she has no involvement in the events happening. As it turns out, law enforcement has their eyes on another suspect.
His name is Girard Saenz, and police now have him in custody. Police were alarmed by an anonymous caller, who reported suspicious activity coming from the Holmy Hills residence. Apparently, Saenz was illegally transporting, storing, and selling guns out of the property. Judging by photos, it looks like police recovered mostly pistols and shotguns. Aerial views of the scene show the guns spread across the floor.
This isn’t the first time Seanz has had a run-in with law enforcement. Back in 2017, the man was accused of holding people at gunpoint. Reportedly, as he was driving by the home, Seanz mistook a group of cleaners as burglars. It wasn’t until police arrived that the situation was sorted out. It appeared that the cleaners were hired by a property manager to clean the home, and Sean was left out of the loop.
Both the LAPD and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives are working together on the current case. Neither believes there’s anything to be worried about.
