Marco Pavé Shares His Life Story In New Video “Lifted”

Pusha T reuniting with his brother Malice for The Clipse performance at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards was iconic. Today, DMV rapper Marco Pavé pays tribute to their return with the release of his new music video for his buzzing track “Lifted.” In the music video directed by Jessi Ujazi, Pavé honors them with influential raps like, “We used to fight hard, no palace, no malice, I Pusha T the limit.”

The concept of “Lifted” is inspired by Pavé’s personal journey. “I originally created #Lifted as a reflection on my life,” said Pave. “At 19 or 20, I had a forklift license because it was the best job available at the warehouse I worked at, and I was still broke and depressed because it wasn’t what I desired for myself. It’s a song that remembers the tough times but also serves as a reminder to rise up from wherever you started.”

Pavé burst onto the scene in 2017 with his breakout debut, Welcome to Grc Lnd. Currently, he holds the position of being the premier Hip-Hop artist in residence at Georgetown University. After collaborating with Carlos Simon on “Requiem for the Enslaved,” Pavé’s latest release paves the way for more new music from this talented artist.

“Lifted” is produced by Manté Carlo. You can find Pavé’s new single on all platforms via Radio Rahim Records. To stay updated on Marco Pavé, follow him on social media.
