A man hospitalized after setting himself on fire on the Ellipse, a park south of the White House.
Video posted on Twitter shows the man engulfed in flames near the Ellipse, a park located south of the White House. The shocking scene left plenty of people speechless.
U.S. Park Police said officers responded to a report of a man on fire on the Ellipse. Furthermore, the man of fire did not stand for too long. Medical aid was on the scene and used the extinguisher. Furthermore, medics rushing to the scene took the man to the hospital.

In a tweet, the Secret Service said the National Park Service and the United States Park Police administered first aid at the scene after the man self-immolated around 12:20 p.m.
At approximately 12:20 p.m. a man lit himself on fire on the Ellipse near 15th and Constitution Ave., Secret Service personnel are on scene assisting @NatlParkService and @usparkpolicepio in rendering first aid.

According to NY Post, when took the hospital, the man was listed in critical condition.
Videos of the episode showed the man walking several paces while in flames as law enforcement personnel responded. Unfortunately, officials said they still had not determined a motive for the man’s action by late afternoon. We are praying for the individual that set themselves on fire.
