Louisville’s The Homies Want To Enjoy The Last Days Of Summer In “Thirsty”

Girl and boy bands always come and go with the times. Unfortunately, music groups rarely stick together due to conflicting personal issues or creative differences. Everyone from B2K and One Direction has either broken up and reunited at a later date or pursued their solo careers. Though, boyband The Homies aren’t calling it quits anytime soon.

After having been together for years, the Louisville rap group continued going strong. A four-man collective group comprised of Ace Pro, 2forwOyNE, Shlobb, and Quiiso, the boyband has maintained their success rate. Afterall, they’ve received co-signs from the likes of iconic DJs DJ Drama and Don Cannon. Several publications have also taken notice of their talent, such as Respect Mag, Earmilk, and Louisville City Beat. Additionally, they’ve opened for several big-name artists like Bryson Tiller and Waka Flaka Flame. Not to mention, the HipHop group was co-founded by none other than Jack Harlow himself.

Furthermore, they’ve dropped hit after hit, including their cult track “Leaf Wraps” featuring Harlow, which garnished 5 million streams on Spotify. Additionally, their “White Lies” track scored 3.7 million Spotify streams. Not only are they great in the studio, but clearly they bring down the house at live shows. Recently, The Homies finished up their Forecastle Festival in May and toured all across Australia. With so much going for them, it’s no wonder they haven’t slowed down.

Recently, the rap collective has dropped their newest end-of-summer track “Thirsty” off their It’s A Lot Going On album released August 19th. Specifically, the single finds the four men ending their summer on a good note.

The Homies “Thirsty” Finds The Artists Chilling On The Last Days Of Summer

With summer coming to a close, everyone is eager to get in one last summer-love track. Rap group The Homies definitely wanted to end the season on a good note with their latest “Thirsty.” Furthermore, the song combines sped-up samples of Drake’s “Houstatlantavegas” and Missy Elliot’s vocals on “Ching-A-Ling,” making for one unique track.

Shot by Ace Pro himself, the music video finds the four members having fun on a summer’s day, playing beach volleyball with beautiful women. Clearly, the guys know how to have a good time and produce an end-of-the-summer banger.
