Los Angeles Supervisor Ridley-Thomas Hosts Black Panther Drive-In

This Saturday will be a night like no other. Los Angeles Supervisor will be hosting a special screening of Black Panther. With Covid-19 at an all-time high, the Supervisor is spreading the joy a little early this year. This Drive-in movie experience is an opportunity for families to come together and engage with other members of the community to enjoy friendly entertainment during the pandemic.

Black panther meant so much to the black people around the world. Black Panther is not just another film, but an inspiration to young and old people alike. With people referring to each other and King and Queen and with the common phrase of “Wakanda Forever” this movie had grown into something of its own.

Recently the world lost an amazing actor, Chadwick Boseman. It was a tragic day in entertainment history. A man who transcended greatness on and off screen – members around the world will remember his name forever.

This drive-in experience is the second in a four-part series. Last month, the Supervisor hosted a drive-in showing Cool Runnings during Labor Day weekend.

The next drive-in will be next week on Friday, October 2nd followed by a drive in on October 3 at 7pm.  Be sure to sit back and relax as audiences travel back in time for a viewing of Remember the Disney princess favorite, Moana.
