LISTEN: Little Simz Returns With “Offense”

Little Simz is officially back with her new single “Offense.” It’s been nearly a year since the release of Stillness in Wonderland. This week the English rapper/ singer premiered the new track on Beats Radio as Zane’s World Record.

When asked about the track, Simz stated,

 “Super excited to share my brand-new music with the world, it’s been a minute. Offence’ for me feels like the right way to kick start it, can’t wait to share more.”

Currently working on the follow up to her 2017 project, “Offense” serves as the first single off her forthcoming project. Speaking with Zane Lowe, Simz explained that her upcoming album will be the first time she’s worked with live instrumentation.

I guess this is my first project where I’ve kind of worked with only real live instrumentation. And for ‘Offence’ anyway, I wanted it to feel very unapologetic, very ballsy and I think times like this especially… It’s not time to be silent.
