On Lil Uzi Vert’s birthday, that notion became abundantly clear. While City Girl’s JT showered her boyfriend with loving gifts, Lil Uzi Vert didn’t seem all thrilled about his special day. In fact, their birthday brings up bad memories.

Most people love celebrating their birthday. However, Lil Uzi Vert isn’t all that into celebrating the day they were born. On Sunday, a video of Vert ringing in their 27th birthday surfaced online. JT and all Vert’s friends surround them, as they sit in front of a sparkling cake. When Vert’s dotting girlfriend tells them to blow out their candles and make a wish, they ask, “How? I don’t wish.”
Can we just take to minute to talk about that scowl on their face? It’s on another level of ‘resting b****face.’ While Vert maybe one of the few people who despise their birthday, the nonbinary rapper has their reasons. On August 2, the “Erase Your Social” rapper took to Twitter to reveal that their birthday brings up bad memories. “I don’t know why it’s just like that hug I never had ….. i be so excited in my head but be scared 2 show it,” the rapper tweeted to their fans.
Apparently, the rapper isn’t used to people showering them with love on their birthday.

Even better, City Girls’ JT was there to show Vert just what it means to be loved. In continuation of his Twitter exchange with fans, Vert shared that JT professed her love for them on their birthday. By their response, it came as a shock and at first, they rejected her. Though, it’s clear as day that the City Girls rapper is head over heels in love with Lil Uzi Vert. “I feel like with everything I been through in life you are one of my greatest rewards!” JT wrote on her Instagram page.
If that isn’t enough to convince Lil Uzi Vert, we don’t know what will.
