Lil Baby Allegedly Put A Price On What it will take for him to stay home.
Rumors began swirling Sunday after Lil Baby made a bold announcement on his Instagram Live feed. The Atlanta rapper was talking to fans when he told his followers he had some demands for his record label.
“I told my label, they need to give me $5 million, or I’m going to hustle, fuck it,” said Lil, baby. Followed by “I can’t be sittin’ in no house. I get money. Give me $5 million, or I’m doing what I do.”
The “My Turn” artist went on to clarify that he wasn’t talking about anything illegal when he said hustling. Stating, “Nah, I don’t gotta sell no drugs. You know, I just hustle. Ain’t gotta be no drugs, just something,”. Further adding, “I know my label cares about me. They don’t want me out, got damn, doing no bullshit, so they gon’ fuck with me.”
Lil Baby also went on to touch the growing popularity of virtual performances during this coronavirus pandemic. He shared that he thinks the performances are “corny” and that he doesn’t think he “could look good doing no virtual show”.
On Monday, the rapper took to Instagram to let people know that his 5 million statements were a joke.
He even mentioned Quality Control Music CEO, Pierre “Pee” Thomas asking him “How many 5ms we done ran up. ohhhh okkkk”. Pee seemed to share his artist sentiment, sharing the image to his fans chiming in with the caption. “Too Many Times Idiots. Y’all MF’s Love A Story. “My Turn” Deluxe Come Out Friday. Go Run That Up.”
