    Legendary to adapt My Hero Academia for a live action film

    Today is a good day for fans of the anime, My Hero Academia. Legendary is set to adapt the anime for a feature live action film.

    My Hero Academia takes place in a world where 80% percent of the population has developed some sort of powers, known as quirks. It follows Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless boy who is obsessed with superheroes. Midoriya wants to be hero however, it is almost impossible without a quirk. Soon Midoriya catches the attention of the world’s greatest hero, who decides to take him on as a mentee.

    The anime was released back in 2014. Since then, it has sold 17 million copies and has been made into an animated series and a feature movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.

      Legendary is also set to release Detective Pikachu, starring Ryan Reynolds, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters next year.
