Last Thursday, Sony announced that L.A Reid would no longer be continuing as the CEO of Epic Records. Now the reasoning behind his unfortunate departure has been announced: sexual harassment by a female assistant.
According to the New York Post, who published a letter from Sony Music, alleged that Reid made made “inappropriate physical advances: towards her at the company’s December holiday party. Sources have been reported that Reid “commented on the type of clothes he liked her to wear” as well as “once asking her to join in bed for a hug while on a business trip.”
Epic responded to the allegations stating, ““We are not allowing a culture like that in this company, no matter how much a person brings to the bottom line.”
