Kurt Cobain offered some interesting insights into white people and rap music.
During an interview from 1991 that surfaced a few weeks ago via Dead City’s Beat’s Bandcamp, the late frontman of Nirvana – Kurt Cobain admits that white people should not rap at all.
When speaking with an interviewer days before the release of Nirvana’s album Nevermind, Cobain was asked to share his thoughts about white people entering the space of rap music. And in classic Cobain fashion, he noted that “The white man has ripped off the black man for long enough”
