Being famous doesn’t exempt stars from running into trouble with the law. Several celebrities can’t seem to stay away from the law, including rapper Kodak Black. The 24-year-old, Florida-based rapper has had his fair share of run-ins with the law, especially in the past two years. Most recently, police arrested Kodak Black in Pompano Beach this past New Year’s Day. Looks like the rapper spent most of his holiday stuck in the slammer.

Obviously, Kodak Black can’t keep himself off the police’s radar. This holiday season, police arrested the rapper on a past trespassing charge on Saturday in South Florida. According to a statement given by the South Florida SunSentinel, police took Black into custody in his hometown that same day. Even still, the 24-year-old rapper didn’t stay in jail very long. He later posted bond and authorities released him. Unfortunately, his reps didn’t reveal any further details about his sudden arrest. Although, Kodak Black’s arrest didn’t stop there. In fact, the rapper has committed a series of criminal offenses in the past.

In the last two years, Kodak Black has kept the police busy with his criminal offenses. Back in 2020, Black served a 3-year federal sentence for falsifying documents to purchase weapons at a gun store in Miami. Though, the rapper only served half his sentence.

Then again in April 2021, Black was sentenced to probation for assaulting a teenage girl in a South Carolina hotel room. Initially, police charged him with rape. Though, he made a deal with prosecutors and pleaded-guilty to first-degree assault. That last criminal offense seems worthy of a lengthy sentencing.
