Kim Kardashian is taking her love of justice to the next level.
In an interview done with Vogue, Kim K reveals that she’s studying to become a full-fledged lawyer. And she plans to take the bar exam no later than the year 2022. Yet despite her reality-tv queen status, it doesn’t come as a surprise that this new purpose in life is suddenly on her agenda. Recently, Kim’s proven that she has the chops to be a real force within the courtroom. Looking over her resume, and you’ll find that she’s been playing an active role in trying to bring reform to the criminal justice system. Her first go at it was with Alice Marie Johnson, who she helped gain clemency.
In the profile piece, Kim K says, “I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case. It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.”
At the moment, KK is not attending a law school. Instead, she’s taking a 4-year apprenticeship, offered by a San Francisco-based law firm.
