Kid Cudi‘s Man On The Moon collection becomes a trilogy Friday (Dec. 12) with the release of the long-awaited Man On The Moon 3: The Chosen album.
Today, via Twitter, Cudi made the announcement with the release of the album’s cover and tracklist. Sticking to his signature art design from the two previous predecessors, Cudi enlists the creative mind of Logic-famed artist Sam Spratt. “U fuckin’ crushed it,” Cudi tweeted Spratt following the artist revealing the cover on his Twitter.

Man On The Moon 3 will also reprise its Acts, narrating, cinematic formulaic approach with appears by Trippie Redd, Skepta, Phoebe Bridges, and the late-Pop Smoke. The album is executive produced by familiar Cudi collaborators Dot Da Genius and Dennis Cummings. The album’s synopsis is as followed:
“In the last 10 years, Scott Mescudi has been through hell and back. After feeling like his world was over, he found hope and overcame the darkness that was plaguing his life.
But happiness isn’t forever. What he thought was peace turned into a nightmare. He finds himself lost dealing with the same pain he had not felt in years, in one night, he must face himself again and fight to win back his soul from the evil Mr. Rager. Featuring epic production from the legend Dot Da Genius, Take A Day Trip, and the return of the team that helped start it all: Plain Pat, Emile Hayne, and Mike Dean, fall back into the world and twisted mind of Kid Cudi for the final installment in the man on the moon trilogy.”
The original Man On The Moon debuted in 2009 and transformed Kid Cudi into one of this generation’s most influential superstars produced the biggest hits “Day N Night,” “Mr. Rager,” and “Pursuit of Happiness”. Travis Scott, Logic and so many more of today’s superstars credit Kid Cudi as the big influence in their music. Years in the making, the album is known for so many start and stops, including Cudi falling in and out of love with music, dealing with drug addiction and raising a daughter.
In 2020, Kid Cudi appeared on new music from Eminem, Travis Scott and Ty Dolla $ign.
